Collage

 

I started developing collages as a way to show the textile art that I make apart from photography. these also help me to rest a bit from documentary photography and enter that textile world that I like so much. I also create them digitally, but the ones I prefer the most are the ones I make with my textiles and my own hands, as it´s in them where I show my stitch and colour decisions, based always on what I feel in the moment and supporting the story that I want to create, relying on the photographs I take. Creating a story with different elements added and made by hand gives me satisfaction and joy everytime I stand away from my piece and appreciate the final result.
